Bounce Introduces New Hands-On Workshop Series to Take Entrepreneurs Beyond the Startup Phase

Entrepreneurs looking to expand their skills and take their businesses to the next level are invited to participate in an innovative new workshop series from Bounce Innovation Hub. The series combines hands-on activities and informative discussions. Bounce designed the Beyond Startup: Skills & Strategies for Entrepreneurs workshop series by gathering feedback from startups and entrepreneurs on the skills and knowledge they seek to scale their businesses effectively.

“Bounce has a history of supporting businesses across any industry or type, from high-growth startups to small businesses. We wanted to continue that support with meaningful, low-impact, high-value workshops,” said Bounce’s Program Coordinator, Greyson Byrnes.

“What makes Bounce special is the intersection of our core components of programming, convening, and place. The emphasis of this workshop series is to highlight the intersection of those components by convening entrepreneurs through valuable programming in one place,” added Vice President of Programming Elyse Ball.

Beginning on October 16, Bounce will hold workshops twice a month. Each workshop will focus on a specific topic, such as brand identity, building a web presence, and sales prospecting, and be facilitated by a subject matter expert in Bounce’s ecosystem. The first workshop will focus on bookkeeping using QuickBooks and will be facilitated by Phelan Spence, Manager of Business Strategy Services at Jumpstart.

“The goal for every workshop is that the bulk of the time is going to be spent actively working on something that you can take back and use for your business. We want to ensure attendees will get the most out of their time in these,” said Ball.

Registering for one of the workshops will also allow attendees to cowork in Bounce’s Generator space for free the day of the workshop. Throughout the series, Bounce tenants, entrepreneurial service providers (ESPs), and members of the programming team will provide supplementary resources for attending entrepreneurs.

“If you attend these workshops and you are interested in engaging more with us, members of the programming team will be in attendance to speak more. We will also send out post-workshop surveys to provide feedback that our team can follow up with,” said Byrnes.
