AKRON, Ohio (April 6, 2021) – Bounce Innovation Hub is pleased to announce James Hilton has been named Sr. Director of Entrepreneurial Services. Hilton officially started on April 1. He replaces Christopher Mazziotto who exited the organization at the end of December to pursue new opportunities. Mazziotto had been with Bounce since June 2018.
Hilton brings 10 years of entrepreneurial and advisory experience to the position. He has worked for Bounce since its inception in January 2018 as a startup advisor, and was recently promoted to program manager of the software accelerator.
“James’s startup and advisory experience and history with the organization make him an excellent choice for this role,” said Jessica Sublett, COO. “As a tech startup founder, advisor and advocate, he has firsthand knowledge of what our entrepreneurs experience every day. We are confident that James will successfully lead our programming team to meet our organization’s lofty strategic goals.”
The senior director of entrepreneurial services is a key leadership position in the organization. Hilton is responsible for overseeing all entrepreneurial programming and tasked with executing strategies and delivering on key objectives outlined in the organization’s strategic plan. He will report directly to the chief operating officer and work closely with the chief executive officer, chief marketing officer, and other senior leadership team members.

I believe my experiences starting, and actively running, my own companies, with my co-founders, helps me nurture the best environment and provide the best services for entrepreneurs working with Bounce,” said Hilton. “I’m excited to serve the community and my fellow founders in my capacity as senior director of entrepreneurial services.”
An active member of the northeast Ohio entrepreneurial community, Hilton brings insight and expertise to help other local entrepreneurs. He is co-founder and managing director of Wonderkiln Inc., advisor for the University of Akron Research Foundation’s STRIDE Accelerator and co-founder of Bilgewater, LLC. Hilton graduated from Walsh University with a bachelor of science in Biology, Pre-medicine.
