Bounce Innovation Hub to Host Open House Nov. 30

Free Co-working, Guided Tours and Live Pitch Competition

Bounce Innovation Hub invites the public to a free open house on Tues., Nov. 30, also known as #GivingTuesday, a global celebration of the power of giving back to build better communities (https://www.givingtuesday.org/). 

“As a community-driven, open innovation hub, we are looking forward to showcasing our unique co-working and event space, as well as our entrepreneurs, on Giving Tuesday,” said Doug Weintraub, Bounce CEO. “We want visitors to see the impact Bounce has on Northeast Ohio startups and small businesses and consider supporting our organization so we can continue to provide programming that impacts our local economy.”

From 8 a.m.-5 p.m., guests can take advantage of Free Co-working Day. They are also welcome to join a guided tour of Bounce and enjoy food and refreshments catered by Stray Dog Café. Tours will be given from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 4:30-6 p.m.

Life’s a Pitch

The celebration continues into the evening with the MORTAR at Bounce Life’s a Pitch live pitch competition and celebration. Networking starts at 5:30 p.m., program starts at 6 p.m., and admission is free. There will be music, food and guest speakers, while attendees watch five finalists from the graduating class compete for $3,000 for their businesses.

MORTAR at Bounce is a 15-week business accelerator that helps existing and emerging entrepreneurs, with a focus on minorities and women, learn the nuances of ownership and grow their early-stage businesses.
