GENERATOR

Coming in early 2019! Available for public use, the Generator makes Bounce a true, open innovation hub. It will include a variety of options for co-working and private office space,  a makerspace, event space, a café and a University of Akron esports lab.

The Bit Factory now offers two accelerator tracks – product development for early-stage software startups and sales and marketing for market-ready companies. The program also includes co-working space, access to experienced advisors and potential investment.

Bounce’s incubation program provides early-stage and scale-up companies with expert business counseling and advice from EIRs, mentoring services and networking opportunities as well as affordable office, lab or light manufacturing space.

This is where arts and entrepreneurship intersect. Whether you’re a creative professional, artist, maker or crafter, we have  lots of options here at Bounce including office and studio space, a makerspace  (coming in 2019), galleries and an artist co-op.

We are a community filled with vibrant, hardworking people just like you. Bounce welcomes big ideas and big dreams. If you’re just visiting or setting up shop, no matter what you do, you will find yourself at home in Bounce’s open, collaborative ecosystem.

Bounce is home to many events throughout the year. In collaboration with some incredible partners, we host business workshops, networking meetup groups and large-scale events. Check out our event calendar to find what works for you!

What Our Companies Are Saying

"We are an indoor agricultural company here at Bounce. There was another company down the hall from us that was highly involved in technology. Tech isn't what we do, but they ended up pushing us towards pieces of technology, which we then incorporated into our operations. They saw it and they said, 'Hey, entrepreneur to entrepreneur, I think this might help you.' And it did - immensely. It made it our business run more efficient, smoother, more traceable and, ultimately, enabled us to get better as a company."

"I strongly believe in getting out and talking to people and building a network. The fact that I am in a building where I might meet the leader of the Women’s Network or bump into someone at a luncheon that’s also building an app, and we can intentionally talk to each other, is amazing. If I was in my own space or at home or a coffee shop, I wouldn’t have these opportunities. That’s something that you get when you’re in a space that’s collaborative and community-oriented for startups."
