Bounce Innovation Hub is seeking an outgoing and enthusiastic Community Coordinator to act as the welcoming face to Bounce and the Generator. Community Coordinator

Job Responsibility:
Bounce is looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic Community Coordinator to act as the welcoming face to Bounce and the Generator. Candidates must be passionate about helping customers and developing relationships. We are looking for someone who will be a staple in our community and will help create an atmosphere of connectivity and creativity in the space. The Community Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Community and Partnerships.

Job Duties:
Hospitality
The Community Coordinator is the first impression of Bounce, offering a friendly face and general assistance to all who visit the building. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • staffing the welcome desk
  • answering the phone
  • greeting visitors
  • registering visitors
  • assisting visitors with finding their destination
  • registering new coworking members
  • being the go-to person for current coworking members, visitors, and customers
  • problem solving
  • relationship building

Coworking Community
In addition to staffing the welcome desk at Bounce, the Coordinator will also assist in managing daily activities of the coworking space. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • serving as the point of contact for members
  • assisting in developing and executing community initiatives such as events, communications, and networking
  • serving as a master communicator to coworking members
  • being a community driver who builds relationships with members and make connections between members

Administration
Certain administrative tasks will be assigned to the Coordinator. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • receiving, organizing, and securely storing member mail and packages as necessary
  • working with the Bounce Office Manager to order supplies and manage equipment and service contracts
  • manage member contracts, invoices, and logistics in collaboration with Director
  • manage event contracts, invoices, and logistics in collaboration with Director

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with over 3 years of business or professional experience
  • Prior customer service or hospitality experience – this is a public-facing role that serves as the first impression of Bounce; excellent customer service skills are a requirement
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and efficient problem solving skills and a quick learner
  • Strong organization skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work within a small, startup team as a self-starter
  • Startup business knowledge or experience
